Raiseboring & Underground Drilling Services

Raisebor delivers a full spectrum of shaft services encompassing surface and underground projects, whether cased or uncased, steel plate, or concrete lined. Our team is safe, professional, highly skilled, and dedicated to a strong work ethic.

We’re a family owned, U.S. business focusing on safety, timeliness, and professionalism.

Decades of Raiseboring Expertise

Raisebor was founded in 1973 with one rig. The Robbins 41-R provided us with raise drilling capability of four, five, and six foot diameter raises from relatively shallow depths. Since then, Raisebor has evolved with cutting-edge additions like the Robbins 61-R, Ingersoll Rand RBM-7, Robbins 83 RM-DC, and most recently, the Atlas Copco 123RH. This equipment empowers us to pull larger raises, reaching from 2000 feet and up to an impressive 26′ diameter. Dip angles of 45 degrees are not uncommon to us, and our drilling procedures ensure straight holes even in the most difficult formations.

Versatile Underground Drilling Operations

Raisebor operates globally. We’ve shipped our equipment via truck, train, barge, and ocean freight. Our Raisebor equipment is designed for efficient dismantling and re-erection underground, enabling us to access challenging locations promptly, saving your company valuable time and resources.

Safety Excellence in Raiseboring

Under the guidance of Mick Hardwick, Raisebor’s General Manager, our safety record stands as a significant advantage. Our lost time accident rate is among the lowest in the United States, reflecting our commitment to a secure working environment.

Global Raiseboring Solutions, Local Excellence

With a complete line of drilling equipment and a stellar safety record, Raisebor offers clients turnkey, bonded (if required) worldwide underground drilling solutions without reliance on external construction companies.
